Adult Class FAQs
What do I wear for Ballet Class?
For adult class, please wear whatever you feel most comfortable dancing in. Some adults wear a leotard, tights, and a ballet skirt. Others wear yoga pants/leggings (ankle length or shorter so you don't trip) and a fitness or regular t-shirt. Just wear something comfortable that will allow you to stretch and bend. If you have long hair, put it in a bun or ponytail to help keep it out of your eyes.
Ballet slippers are recommended, but if you are a first time student and want to wear socks before you invest in slippers that is perfectly fine.
Who are these classes best for?
Our adult ballet classes are primarily for women and men, age 18 and older. This supportive program focuses on the foundations of classical ballet in a welcoming, structured environment—perfect for true beginners or long-time dancers. Our current adult students range in age from their 20s to their 60s, with most somewhere in between.
We offer an introductory course for complete beginners, as well as weekly classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced student, and private lessons for all levels!
How much do they cost?
We offer multiple price options, from packages to drop-ins.
