Adult Class FAQs
What do I wear for Ballet Class?
For our adult ballet classes, please wear whatever you feel most comfortable dancing in. Some adults choose a leotard, tights, and a ballet skirt, while others prefer yoga pants or leggings (ankle length or shorter to avoid tripping) with a fitted workout top or t-shirt. The most important thing is that your clothing allows you to stretch and move freely.
If you have long hair, please secure it in a bun or ponytail to keep it out of your face.
Ballet slippers are recommended. However, if you’re a first-time student and would like to wear socks before investing in slippers, that is absolutely fine.
Who are these classes best for?
Our adult ballet classes are primarily for women and men, age 18 and older. This supportive program focuses on the foundations of classical ballet in a welcoming, structured environment—perfect for true beginners or long-time dancers. Our current adult students range in age from their 20s to their 60s, with most somewhere in between.
We offer an introductory course for complete beginners, as well as weekly classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced student, and private lessons for all levels!
How much do they cost?
We offer multiple price options, from packages to drop-ins.
