Studio Company is the highest level of Pryntsev Ballet Academy training in the Vaganova Ballet Method. Our dancers are accepted to the most prestigious schools in the world — such as the Paris Opera Ballet School — and excel on the world's competition stages. At YAGP, Studio Company dancers place Top 1, Top 2, Top 3 and Top 24 year after year, reaching the finals as both soloists and ensemble dancers. These results are not accidental. They are built in Foundation I and Foundation II. Foundation I establishes placement, the fundamental positions of the feet and arms, musical phrasing, strength and flexibility. Foundation II is where professional training begins — the proper study of the body, legs, arms and head, the first jumps and pre-pointe work, coordination and expressiveness. By the time a dancer reaches Studio Company, the technique is already correct. Nothing has to be undone. That is why our dancers stand on international stages and hold their own. PLACEMENT: Placement is guided by age, and the final decision is made by the teacher based on each student's readiness and skills. We are always happy to talk through the right fit for your dancer.
