We welcome you to join our 2023-2024 season. Pryntsev Ballet Academy continues to offer the highest ballet education in Orange County for children, pre-teen, and teen dancers in our spacious facility, providing a caring, safe and productive environment for every student.

Pryntsev Ballet Academy

Our program provides instruction in the Vaganova method of Russian classical ballet. We are happy to discover and inspire any young dancer on a path to become a professional ballet dancer. We strive to keep our students challenged and motivated by having a structured ballet program, offering our students high education about dance and providing them with full length ballet performances, ballet exams twice a year with special guest judges, competitions opportunity. Our approach stresses the importance of a correct foundation, so that students have the opportunity to develop skills to reach their maximum potential.

We offer programs for the serious dance student, and also anyone who wishes to explore dance recreationally as an artist.

Important Note: This year, we are excited to announce that we are accepting students as young as 7 years old into our pre-professional training program. We believe in nurturing young talent and providing them with the necessary foundations for a successful ballet career. Our Programs:

Pre-Ballet
The emphasis in these classes is on musicality, creativity, coordination and building a love of dance, preparing the child well for the time when he or she is physically and mentally at the age to begin formal training.

• Pre-Ballet Group A (Ages 3-6)

Recreation Program

Instruction in Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Ballet. Each age level is structured to offer beginners and seasoned dancers a fun and challenging class.

Pre-Professional Program
Ballet Level 1-8
Beg/Int/Pre-Pro

The Pryntsev Ballet Academy Pre-Professional Program has 8 levels, and is designed to help students transition from a young mindset to understanding the professional environment, and prepare young dancers for a professional career. Starting from Level 3, the Pre-Professional program includes two yearly examinations with special guest judges, master classes, repertoire experience, ballet training, character dance, pointe work, variation, classical dance, modern/contemporary, jazz dance, stretching & conditioning classes, and competitions such as YAGP, CDC, and others.

Pryntsev Ballet Academy presents two productions per year.

• Ballet Academy Level 1-2 (Ages 7-9)

• Ballet Academy Level 3 (Ages 10-11)

• Ballet Academy Level 4 (Ages 11-12)

• Ballet Academy Level 5 (Ages 13-15)

• Ballet Academy Level 6-8 (Ages 15-18)

*Please note that students are placed into graded levels dependent upon the student's technical abilities, not necessarily age, (to be determined by a placement class and evaluation).
