Meet Your Winter Workshop Teachers

Ivan Pryntsev is the Founder and Artistic Director of Pryntsev Ballet Academy and an internationally trained professional ballet dancer and educator. Born in Ukraine, he trained at the Dnipro Ballet Academy and graduated from the Dnipro Theatrical Art College with qualifications as a Professional Ballet Dancer and Ballet Teacher. While still a student, he performed with the Dnipro Opera and Ballet Theatre, touring internationally and dancing classical roles in Swan Lake, Romeo & Juliet, and The Sleeping Beauty.

Ivan later danced with the Moscow Ballet in The Great Russian Nutcracker, performing in over 70 cities across the United States, and has performed lead roles with Festival Ballet Theater and Golden State Dance Foundation in California. As a teacher, he specializes in the Vaganova Ballet Method, offering ballet, pointe, variation, and character classes for children, teens, and adults.

Under Ivan’s detailed and supportive teaching approach, his students have earned top placements at Youth America Grand Prix, received prestigious scholarships, and been accepted into world‑renowned programs including the Paris Opera Ballet, The Royal Ballet, Vaganova Ballet Academy, Bolshoi Ballet Summer Intensive, and other leading international schools.

Aurore Stalder, holds a BA in Dance and French (Summa Cum Laude) from Cal State Fullerton and is a company member with Nannette Brodie Dance Theater. She began training at age five at Pacific Ballet Conservatory, studying Vaganova, Balanchine, and ABT methods, and has attended intensives with The Joffrey Ballet, The Jillana School, and UC Irvine.

Aurore has performed in multiple productions of The Nutcracker and is passionate about teaching dancers of all levels. She creates classes that are challenging, enjoyable, and supportive, helping students grow with confidence and strong technique. She is also fluent in French and proficient in Spanish.
