Beg-Int-Advanced/Pre-Professional Ballet Program
Description
Beg-Int-Advanced/Pre-Professional Ballet Program* Classes are based on the Vaganova method of classical ballet training with examinations twice a year, and the opportunity to improve both technique and artistry.
We are pleased to offer our students a welcoming and professional ballet program.
During the season, students will have the opportunity to attend Ballet Technique, Pre-pointe, Pointe/Variation, Character Dance, Contemporary, and Stretch classes. We will also have special guest teachers and master classes.
In early December and June, students will have an examination with guest ballet judges to independently evaluate all of our students. All parents will be invited to view the examination, and obtain feedback on their student’s accomplishments, as well as suggested goals for the future.
Students will have the opportunity to participate at our annual performances, showcases and competition.
A strong ballet program and flexibility is extremely important, to be a good dancer.
Through these program, many dancers may discover a path to more serious training and may even begin to contemplate a career in ballet.
*Please note that students are placed into graded levels dependent upon the student's technical abilities, not necessarily age, (to be determined by a placement class and evaluation).
