Dora Duan, Age 13, Places 24th in Junior Classical at YAGP Los Angeles 2026

We are proud to share that Dora Duan, age 13 and a Level 7 dancer at Prynstev Ballet Academy, placed 24th in the Junior Classical division at the YAGP Los Angeles Semi-Final on Friday, February 27, 2026. Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) is one of the most respected international ballet competitions, drawing talented young dancers from around the world. Earning a notable ranking in the Junior Classical category is a meaningful achievement and reflects Dora’s commitment to her craft.

Competing in the Junior Classical division requires strong technique, musicality, stage presence, and artistic awareness. Dora approached the competition with focus and determination, demonstrating the strength of the classical foundation she continues to build through her training at Prynstev Ballet Academy in Orange County. As a Level 7 dancer, she trains with advanced expectations — refining strength, precision, and confidence — all essential qualities for success on a competitive stage like YAGP.

We are proud of Dora’s accomplishment and the growth she continues to show as a young artist. Milestones like this reflect the value of consistent, structured training and thoughtful coaching, and they mark important steps in a dancer’s development. We look forward to supporting Dora as she continues to grow and pursue new opportunities in the seasons ahead.
